DEVELOPER DOCUMENTATION

Data & methodology

Useful comparisons start with traceable observations.

Price sources

GPU Router collects current market quotes and records price history across its eligible routes. New catalog models are discovered automatically. OpenRouter’s public catalog supplies exact IDs, descriptions, reference prices, context, and modalities.

Provider eligibility

Venue-attested means the marketplace marks the seller trusted. Direct-venue means a first-party venue catalog quote. Neither is an independent benchmark of the served model. Only eligible offers appear in price comparisons.

Intelligence per dollar

We divide a sourced GPQA Diamond percentage score by the cost of 1M input plus 1M output tokens. Scores are external endpoint observations dated September 6, 2026. Missing scores remain missing. Zero-price models are excluded from division-based rankings. This comparison is a heuristic, not a claim of identical quality across providers.

Usage coverage

The market feed publishes requests, spending, and credit face value, labeled 24h. A rolling 24-hour window has not been confirmed; observed resets resemble UTC-day counters. Other platforms do not expose comparable public model-wide totals. We do not mix application totals, token estimates, requests, or credit face value into a single usage number.

History and freshness

The discovery feed refreshes every 30 seconds. Recorded charts refresh every minute and offer 1h, 6h, 24h, and 7d windows. Gaps in observations remain gaps. Stale market observations are not used for live savings, rankings, or free eligibility.
